THE TYPES OF CANDIDATES WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Depending on your background and level of expertise, you can join the network as a Technical Expert or a 4D Expert.

LEVEL 1

Technical Expert

Professionals with recent, demonstrable technical experience in specific areas of expertise who participate in the technical evaluation of R&D&I projects.

Key Features

  • Analysis of the technical documentation.
  • Evaluation of the activities carried out.
  • Preparation of technical reports.
  • Issuance of an assessment regarding whether the project qualifies as R&D or Technological Innovation.

Requirements

  • University degree.
  • Demonstrable experience of at least 8 years, including 4 years in R&D&I activities at the UNESCO 4-digit level in the discipline to be evaluated. A doctoral degree counts as 4 years of experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience at the level defined by the 4-Digit Expert in the areas that constitute the project’s R&D&I, as evidenced by projects carried out in the last five years.

LEVEL 2

4D Expert

Professionals with extensive scientific or technological experience who participate in the review and technical decision-making processes.

Key Features

  • Review of technical and accounting reports.
  • Assessment of the suitability of the proposed certification.
  • Participation in technical decision-making processes.
  • Issuance of technical committee reports.

Requirements

  • A college degree related to the field of assessment.
  • Demonstrable experience of at least 8 years, including 4 years in R&D&I activities at the UNESCO 4-digit level in the discipline to be evaluated. A doctoral degree counts as 4 years of experience.
