CDTI Innovación is the entity under the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities that promotes innovation and technological development of Spanish companies through programs, instruments and the channeling of applications for aid and support for R&D&I projects of Spanish companies.
This agreement formalizes an intense collaboration already existing between both organizations in the technical field, since, in 2022, CDTI Innovación decided to make use of ENAC-accredited verifiers to provide maximum confidence on the compliance with the DNSH principle (principle of not causing significant damage to the environment) for the granting of its partially reimbursable aid to R&D&I projects co-financed with ERDF funds. For this purpose, ENAC prepared the corresponding accreditation scheme and, since then, both organizations have been collaborating in the refinement of this scheme, for which there are already 9 accredited entities which provide the service to the CDTI.
