ENAC accredits ACERTA to certify with the new version 2.3 of IFS Logistics

02/11/2021

IFS Logistics is the benchmark certification in Europe for storage, distribution and transportation, as well as loading and unloading activities for food and non-food products.

It is a regulation that is endorsed by the Italian, German and French dealer associations and has been developed to the highest standards. Therefore, more and more companies are asking their service providers to comply with the IFS Logistics requirements in order to be accepted as a logistics supplier.

On June 1, 2021, was published Version 2.3 of the IFS Logistics. This new version will apply to both new implementation audits and renewals of the stamp.

The main novelties are the adoption of a new scoring system implemented for IFS Food version 7, requirements for the auditor, changes in the requirements for accreditation bodies and for reporting. This new version requires the company to provide evidence of the corrections implementation.

Since October 2021 ACERTA has already been accredited by ENAC to begin certifying and conducting audits with this new version 2.3 of the IFS Logistics standard.
