PERTE-VEC and DNSH Certification Services Offering

28/02/2022

One of the two largest instruments of the Next Generation EU is the Mechanism for Recovery and Resilience (MRR), which constitutes the core of the Recovery Fund and within which are the STRATEGIC PROJECTS FOR ECONOMIC RECOVERY AND TRANSFORMATION (PERTE) in order to articulate public investment and public-private collaboration to achieve the transformation of the value chain in key sectors and strategic for the modernization of the country.

We are going to certify, for the time being, the primary projects that are part of other larger projects, called tractors, of PERTE-VEC (Strategic Project for the Recovery and Economic Transformation in the Electric and Connected Vehicle sector). Specifically in these primary projects of Industrial Research and Experimental Development, it will be necessary to provide an activity qualification report of the project issued by a certification entity accredited by ENAC.

On the other hand, we will also offer DNSH certification.
In this case, the actions susceptible to be financed with the funds of the Mechanism for Recovery and Resilience must be evaluated from the DNSH point of view (Do No Significant Harm) to attach this favorable report (made by ACERTA) within the Approval dossier.

This assessment must ensure that the investment does not adversely affect any of the six environmental objectives defined in Regulation 852/2020:

1. climate change mitigation.
2. Adaptation to Climate Change.
3. Sustainable use and protection of water and marine resources.
4. Circular Economy, including waste prevention and recycling.
5. Prevention and control of air, water and soil pollution.
6. Biodiversity and ecosystem protection and restoration.
